I recently got back on Facebook and would like to get some "friends" with a similar (Democratic) political view as mine.

I joined FB to see family pics of relatives and friends. I soon discovered that lots of people collect FB friends as some kind of valdation of their prestige.
I initially accepted more friend requests than I really wanted and learned to ignore requests even from personal friends. I rarely check FB and avoid posting there. For me it's a time suck, something I don't need or want. I'm well under 100 "friends" and may have to cull it more.
So please understand if I don't Friend you. It's not you, it's me.
