Its so spicy its bringing tears to my eyes, but damn this is really good. It's shrimp Chow Mein with very hot garlic chili oils tossed in. You know I will end up paying for it later. Posted a message on twitter and someone asked me if I was "Forking it down". I told them, you don't use a stainless steel fork with this, it will Melt. My Wooden Chopsticks are on fire!
Its really good though, and though I never really eat much after 11pm, I couldn't sleep and felt really hungry for some reason. Hit the spot...despite their will be consequences! I love Chinese food cause around here, its inexpensive and is always tasty!
Secret confession: I bought four containers of this stuff and am freezing three of them for a day when I am in the mood for it later, when I hit the end of the month and money is low. A carton of this stuff will last me three days, once its in the fry pan. Remaining food will go into the fridge...to be eaten later!

(41,831 posts)But its so cheap to have it delivered from our local Restaurant and they give a container that is w quite filling. Not a problem to heat up either, and add some of the soy sauce, and hot garlic chili oil and its great.
but just in case, here's the recipe:

Sounds about right. It is one of those very cooked down condiments that you don't expect to go bad before the end of days, but eventually just isn't as nice as fresh.
