The first part is the Trump Scandal Class, or TSC. The first digit is the Superclass Designator (SD) and can be in the range of 2 to 9 - the SD is taken from the Circles of Hell in The Inferno, and reads as follows:

SD2 - Lust
SD3 - Gluttony
SD4 - Greed
SD5 - Anger
SD6 - Heresy
SD7 - Violence
SD8 - Fraud
SD9 - Treachery

As one would expect, Superclasses 4, 5, and 8 are going to fill entire bookcases. This is only a four-digit number because as creatively corrupt as Donald Trump is, I don't think even he could come up with more than 8000 different ways to be a criminal.

The second part is the Trump Scandal Sequence, or TSS. This is just a one-up accounting of all his atrocities.

An example: Reneging on Contracts, one of his favorite things in the world, is TSC 8227. Under this Scandal Class, what he did to the architect who redesigned Trump Doral's clubhouse will be 8227-13250, what he did to the woman who catered one of his weddings would be 8227-23180 and what he tried to do to the paint store is 8227-53180.

The purpose of the Trump Scandal Sorting Indicator is to make it easier for future scholars attempting to understand how far the United States fell in the post-Reagan era.
