Game Time! The Yukigassen Professional Snowball Fighting League

Around the world, there are examples of unique sports and games that we have never seen here in the states. Well, today we get a look at something that will blow your mind and will make you want to sign up and play immediately. Today we get a look at The Yukigassen Professional Snowball Fighting League. This unique league from Japan is a professional snowball fighting league known as Yukigassen; a Japanese phrase translates to “snow war.”

The game is played with 2.5-inch machine-made snowballs and features eight teams of three players who partake in regular scrimmages and matches. Teams are allotted 90 snowballs per round with the objective of capturing the other team’s flag or eliminating all of its players.
