Every time I'm on there now, it keeps switching over to this alternate configuration that won't let me see my messages unless I switch to the Messenger thing(I'm able to back out and switch to the standard version).
What's with the hard-sell on this, and why the big rush?

(12,154 posts)All of a sudden I saw my Message area on Fb had changed in looks and how it works, and that it says Messenger instead of Messages.
It's OK, but every time I click Enter for a new paragraph, it sends what I've already typed. In Messages, I could choose to send every time I clicked Enter, or just when I clicked Send.
One good thing is that now I can put images in messages. When I "upgraded" to W10, all of a sudden I couldn't post images in Fb messages anymore unless I did so via Files. (I could still post images in the newsfeed area OK.)
I have no idea how I suddenly got Messenger. I just assumed everyone on Fb had it now.
