which are amounts Boston has handled easily in the past, I've flown out of Logan during blizzards before, it's just taken longer to get off the ground between plowing.

In NYC it's 12"-24". That's on the extreme side for them.

They never used to close for a measly 8 inches of snow and they were always on the lower end of the snow amounts because the airport is hanging out right on the ocean, meaning it's warmer than the rest of the city.

It looks like airlines are canceling now because delays mean they have to start paying overtime.
