Two trips to Cancun. Caught a 13" barracuda on a deep-sea fishing trip. It's funny to call it 'deep-sea'. We were two miles out from the shore, and the water was still only about 12 feet deep. The barracuda I caught, and the conches, and other fish the rest of the party caught made for a tasty lunch.

Hawaii - visited the Pearl Harbor shore museum and the USS Arizona memorial. Very moving. I scattered the flowers from my lei onto the waters over the wreck of the Arizona as a memoriam to the dead.

Fun in the sun. I learned in Honolulu the song 'Hukilau', about the fun of communal net fishing.
