I had 24 of them sitting in trees behind my house, turns out they were waiting for an injured deer to die.

Yes. Weird and scary. I didn't think turkeys ate carcasses? And why are all these wild turkeys in a suburban neighborhood? Do you know the location? Those are definitely turkeys. I had them on my farm in CA, and here in KY. Had one fly into the windshield of my truck on 180 in CA and shattered it. Those are big birds. Funniest thing was the guy behind me pulled over, jumped out of a truckful of kids and asked, Do you want that?

Maybe a turkey funeral....
