*hugs modem*

Our internet, TV and telephone were all out all day Friday. We have a bundled deal and the trunk line coming into the area was down for CenturyLink - they were having trouble at various areas all over the country.

When I called in the outage - from my cell phone while sitting outside in 90 F heat with all the bugs, the technician wanted to have my cell number to call me back. NO WAY they will get my cell number. I don't get a strong enough signal inside the house to receive calls - that's why I had to go outside to call in - so I don't give out my cell number very often. The tech didn't understand the concept of living where you can't get a cell signal.

Oh - and whatever happened also affected the cell towers. Even outside I only got one bar. In town, my husband was having problems with his cell phone.

Anyway, they got everything restored Friday evening but TV went out again Sunday morning. Good thing it wasn't a football weekend, people would have been at their office with torches and pitchforks!

My previous post in this thread was kept to crappy connection size.

I'm addicted and suffer when I have no connection.
