Your opinion of threads with just a link?

How do you feel about DU threads which just have a thread title,
and in the body (Message text) is just a link for you to click on?

Depends on what they link to. Fla Dem Jun 2017 #1
I don't mind those as much as music videos that are not identified in the subject line. femmocrat Jun 2017 #2

Don't like the ones that link to click bait, where you have to keep clicking to read a story, or to ones you can't read unless you have a subscription. But generally just a link is really no different than some posting a short excerpt with the link.

I don't know the names of most of these tunes and often think they could be something interesting to read.

Some people have complained about Twitter links, too. I always mention "Twitter" in the subject line if I'm linking.

It's just a matter of being thoughtful, IMO.

If they can't tell me why I should read the article, I'm not wasting my time.
