Remember.. we Dems are more socially evolved than the other side...

...so we cant expect to go in and instantly change the minds of those that aren't as enlightened. Its a slow process and will take some introspection by the other side to throw out their backwoods mentality and 'see the light'...its hard to admit your world view has been totally wrong. There will be some losses and some wins and it will be an uphill battle. Don't give up and just take care of yourselves.. we have a war to win!

Poor people in Appalachia are dependent on government assistance in many areas, including and especially, health insurance. But they vote for people who promise to repeal these benefit programs under the erroneous belief that only people of color will have their benefits yanked...

Trumpkins are a special kind of ignorant, they have joined a cult and drank the kool-aid. No matter what Butternut does, they will be OK with it.

They thought that him pushing aside other world leaders made him look powerful and the world leader. They love his tweets and see his hate as a sign of strength. Trumpkins have their hearts full of hate, they take it from him, and are a very selfish bunch.
