That we all agreed to pretend that Tim Burton's Batman wasn't a terrible, terrible film.

(4,138 posts)Tim Burton was the guy that gave us "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," and "Beetlejuice," instead of the crap he's been peddling for the last couple decades, so we could give him the benefit of the doubt.
Also, I know the 60s show has its following, but I think it's much worse. And the followups to Burton's two were worthless garbage. And I'm seeing more detractors of Nolan's Batman films lately. I think Batman is just one of those things that is destined to reflect its time, and will always be embarrassingly dated 10 years later.
