Just saw Wonder Woman...O M Effin' G!

I heard people talk a out it I saw the advertisements. I will admit I am not a fan of the 52 version of Wonder Woman with the sword and Shield and her being a Goddess. I grew up watching Lynda Carter's version of her. I read those comics so I was hesitant to see this one.

This movie bridge the two version and made me a fan. I love they way she -Wonder Woman had a lesson to learn. She is not the know it all arrogant the impression a couple of the 52 comics gave me.

gal is amazing... I can see the balance of strength and compassion Lynda Carter and the older comics. She is the perfect find for this role.

I still say Dafne Keen is the find of the century but Gal is a very close second. It has been a long time where an action movie made me want to by another ticket for the very next showing.

WOW

I've been compulsively listening to the soundtrack album of late, and it alone is terrific. This is the first "comic book" movie in a long time that it actually seems they put some thought into.

the perpetuation of the "thieving Indian" stereotype, the wink and nod toward lesbianism and then the resolution being that in essence heterosexual love is what ends up saving the world.

All of the said, yes, I'm glad to have kick-ass women superheroes. And I'm glad they weren't all white on the island.

Yes, there was something there BUT Steve sacrificed himself for love of humanity. Steve made Diana realized that yes, evil is in us but also the heart of good. The ability to help Not only his friends but humanity. Yes, she mourned Steve but in that moment she saw that not only was Ares right but Steve

As for the Native American he gave Diana a hard truth

but then why did the writers need to include the love scene between Steve and Diana (unnecessarily hetero-normative) and why have Chief steal the car?

As for the Native American Stealing a car...

Steve Treavor stole a Motorcycle

in Every type of action adventure movies have a hero "Browsers " a car or Bike.

What about the Indian playing the driver?

We have real Battles to Fight in this country about race. This is movie that made a Native American a hero.
