I think.

Also, the point furthest south on the island of Hawaii is the furthest south point in the US for me.

I am never going back in July either. It was hard to move, much less breathe. My SiL lives in HK and we will go to visit her again sooner or later, but maybe it'll be in November or December. I'm from Iowa and while it can be hot and sticky here, it doesn't last long and the air is much cleaner.

It's very humid in the summer, along with the heat.

It's such a long trip to get there from here, so you would be very smart to get there a few days ahead of the wedding, to help get rid of the jet lag.

I would suggest at least 4 or 5 days ahead. You will feel much better if you can do that.

Have a great time!

Working or play or both ? I've always wanted to go but unless you get a job down there, it's pretty pricey.

It was in January and the temperatures were in the '80s. I don't like heat but fortunately for me we spent most of our time in Baguio, which is in the mountains and much cooler (in fact, historically, it was the "summer capital" of the Phillipines basically for that reason).
