This is exactly how millions of the most memorable recordings are put together. When you have four guys the caliber of Manzarek, Krieger, Morrison and Densmore, that's when masterpieces like "Riders" result.

I was just listening to my Doors CD this morning!!!!
I think Manzarek was one of the best keyboard players ever, and his narrative here about that particular song is fantastic.
