i got one of those for a christmas gift one year. Don't think I ever even opened it.

I guess I shouldn't complain because it is nice that there were people who cared enough to send me a gift but damn, I used to get some shitty christmas presents.

My mom got me a cassette of Perry Como christmas music one year.

One year all I wanted was a cowboy hat like all my friends had - I mean, not some 7 year old's play hat - we lived in Texas and I was in high school and EVERYone had cowboy hats. Nice Stetsons made of felt or whatever they are made of. So I wanted one too and was so happy to unwrap the package and see Stetson on the box. Except inside, instead of a western style cowboy hat, it was a smokey the bear style hat. Wore it once (because I had to after so much begging for a hat), got made fun of mercilessly and non-stop until i put it in my gym bag and took home and buried it in a closet and never saw it again.
