(26,343 posts)There was still some ice on the road.
It was like 10 pm and no one else was on the road.
I said to my partner "at least there is no traffic. Hey wait a minute, there's probably a reason there's no traffic "
It's probably a good thing it was night so my partner didn't freak out looking over the edge. It's probably a good thing I didn't hear this song for the first time until the next day.
I'd like to do it again in daylight. With no ice on the road.

Intro :
Song :
FORTRAN Song
(to the tune of Blue Skies)
by PMW & SG, from DEC archives
FORTRAN smilin' at me, nothing but FORTRAN do I see.
COBOL, take it away, nothin' but FORTRAN for me today.
Never saw the bits flowin' so right,
gettin' together, makin' a byte.
Gettin' my answers, quick as a flash,
system is hummin', never a crash...
With FORTRAN, always bug free, don't need no listin' or
DDT.

(47,571 posts)But I work in the office, and this is my favorite song about an office worker.
"At the office where the papers grow, she takes a break
Drinks a cup of coffee 'cause she finds it hard to stay awake.
It's just another day."

(15,809 posts)Chad and Jeremy's "Rest in Peace" -- I briefly worked in that field, interesting work. I've never found a song about my favorite job, the one where I spent 30+ years: figural lampworking, a type of glasswork.
