which means a kitty pic in The Lounge, right?
This is Elmo, just hangin' out. Not worried about politics or hurricanes or floods or anything other than when is dinner?

(31,402 posts)We adopted Elmo and his brother, Stitch, in June from a local county animal shelter. They are both 9 years old and had been surrendered by
their family because of "allergies". Poor boys. The info on them said they got along with dogs--and we have an 11 year old rescue dog who is
very gentle and laid back who likes kitties--so I took a chance and brought them home. Right after I took this shot this morning Elmo reached
out with his paw to see if he could boop Snowy (the dog) as she walked by. Elmo is definitely mischievous. They are all getting along very well.

(31,402 posts)For seniors who adopt animals older than 3 years old. It didn't affect my decision, but I thought it was a great idea because at 66 I wasn't ready to commit to kittens and I did want two kitties to be company for each other.
