a falafel, but Bill O'Reilly says you can shower with one. Let me know how that works out.

Until its done.
Baking something like fallafel, Id say 15-20 mins (its how long I bake meatballs for).
If you spray em with olive oil and bake em, they should be just as good as deep fry, without all the cholesterol and trans fats.

I sometimes make them into thin pancake-like patties and bake them. Use a nonstick baking mat under them if you try this.
