(100,076 posts)1. I'm not buying because I don't want to encourage more of this.
It's so stupid. I don't know what I'm really doing next week let alone 3 months from now.

(58,835 posts)5. Yeah, everyone seemed to be focused on Thursday and Friday nights.
Advance tix are almost a necessity as most theaters here have reserve seating.
We actually waited almost a month to see TFA although we're huge SW fans. Theater was still packed and somehow, I avoided spoilers. For Rogue One, however, as soon as I heard about ten people raving about it, we went immediately, within the first week. For my $0.02 that is the second-best SW movie after Empire.
Thanks for reminding me that I need to look into this. I won't get as close to the release date as you but we should be able to get in within the first week. Can't wait to see Luke and Rey in action!!!!

(40,416 posts)7. Next year's feature: "The Return of Jar-Jar"
George Lucas killed the Star Wars enterprise with Return of the Jedi. That plus all his Star War toys product placements, like the silly fucking Ewoks and, yes, Jar-Jar Binks. Can hardly wait for the Wookie Christmas Special. (Shudder, they actually did that one!)
