I was sitting in the mall, "people watching". A woman sat down on the bench a few feet away from me. After a few minutes, I said "looks like you're doing the same thing I am". "Yeah", she said, and giggled a bit. We began sharing our comments about the various people walking by. she said, "Gosh, look at some of these men. They look like they haven't showered in a week. They're so gross". I withheld my comments and we continued to watch. Then, she said..."I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I mean, there is no reason that these men can't at least keep themselves clean, no matter how unattractive they may be. I mean look at you, you look very clean".

At first, I was like...Oh, gee, well, thank you!
