I'm still running around in my bare feet, outside, and my pepper and tomato plants are STILL producing!

Here in California's central valley (yes, some of it is still un-burnt!) I've seen what one could call SWARMS of these Painted Ladies. I've seen it at least two times in 27 years. The surrounding fields and farms would have many, many of these flitting about over fields and farms. You couldn't help but get the front of your car plastered with them Within a couple of weeks the phenomenon faded away.
