Peas on Earth

A businessman was not feeling well, so he went to see the doctor about it.

The doctor tells him: "Well, it must be your diet..What sort of greens do you eat?"

The businessman replies: "Well, actually, I only eat peas..I hate all other green foods."

The doctor says: "Well, that's your problem..all those peas must be clogging up your system, you'll have to give them up."

The businessman replies: "For how long, I mean, I really like peas."

The doctor replies: "Forever, I'm afraid."

The businessman is quite shocked by this, but he gives it a go, and, sure enough, his condition improves, so he realizes that he will never eat a pea again.

Years later, he's at a business convention for his employer and afterwards goes to the bar and has a few drinks with a sales representative.

The sales rep. says: "I'd love to have a cigarette, but I gave up smoking...I haven't had a smoke in 2 years."

The bartender says: "Really?..I haven't had a game of golf in 3 years, because it cost me my first marriage."

The businessman says: "That's nothing...I haven't had a pea in nearly 4 years."
