I put this CD on and she konked out after ten minutes or so and is sound asleep.
It's slow, classical-type music but it contains tones that soothe the feline brain. Something something about binaural beats.
There's also people and dogs versions. I guess the science, if you will, has been around for awhile and people meditate to it.

(12,132 posts)but it will just have to get in line behind all the other things i want to learn - I have three guitars I have no idea how to play. 2 keyboards and chopsticks is about it. There's a whole band in my head but they haven't yet created a pill that will release it without me going back in time and learning shit. :/ lol

I don't know anybody who likes that music.
I only know metal heads and punks.
But enjoy yourself and give us a review when you wake up tomorrow!

That show was fucking amazing though. Arcade Fire rocked. I liked that their stage was in the center of the forum and they had some pretty cool lighting and effects.
I think the best part of the show was when they played the title track to their album "The Suburbs" and the lead singer introduced it as "It's about a dystopian future where a reality TV game show host becomes president and he wants to build a wall."

My musical tastes are very eclectic, too. I don't limit myself to classifications. If it sounds good to me, it's my kind of music.

I have been listening to the sound tracks for Oceans 11, 12& 13 movies these last 3 days. There is a mix of jazz, blues, urban on these CDs.....yeah not quite old school vinyl or tapes, but CDs.😉

That is the title of her album. Sad and mournful songs, and since I am in mourning for our country, it is appropriate. She is a new discovery for me, I think I listened to this 10 times through at work today.
