One paragraph of history

George Rapp came to Indiana in 1809, liked what he saw and decided to move his communal group to New Harmony. They prospered. In 1821 Robert Owen came, saw and eventually bought the property. His group moved there in 1825 after Owen lectured on the East Coast about his new society. He invited all to come. Industry sent disruptors. Owen had to return to Wales for an unknown reason. Within 6 months the experiment failed.
Owen's ideas were valid; his naivete was his downfall. Never trust your opponents.
Eugene Debs was the greatest man produced in Indiana and several times spent nights in jail. Never trust your opponents. The other side produced Joe McCarthy.

If you will please, give a one paragraph of history.
