C. Wright Mills 1956 The Power Elite

The Power Elite is a book written by sociologist C. Wright Mills in 1956. In it Mills calls attention to the interwoven interests of the leaders of the military, corporate, and political elements of society and suggests that the ordinary citizen is a relatively powerless subject of manipulation by those entities

That was a good class, and that book was about the only thing I really remember from it.

But I did get an A. I remember that, at least.

Also something by Vance Packard was on the syllabus.

he nailed a lot of key important points and trends which have occurred. I thought his work could be of use in arguments and discussions.
