From their website:
Points of Unity
Capitalism/imperialism is an economic system constructed for the purpose of theft and accumulation of wealth for those in power, regardless of what it does to the rest of humanity and the planet. Its built-in drive for profit has caused measureless human misery all over the world, and is threatening the very existence of life on Earth.
Social struggles against oppressionincluding but not limited to patriarchy, racism, homophobia, oppression of immigrants, the ongoing theft of land and domination of indigenous peopleplus the fight against imperialist wars and international domination, as well as the fight to save the planet from ecocide, are all interconnected.
We support the fight against imperialist wars and international domination, as well as the struggle of the popular masses in all dominated countries against their own dominant classes and against global capitalism, and for self-determination.

(11,481 posts)The one in Nashville (and in a lot of other places) wouldn't even name the system when they were actively "occupying". And here, they still won't. It's good to see that the remnants of Occupy are beginning to get it. You can't effectively fight against something if you don't even know or are too scared to mention, what you're fighting against.
As to the sentiment expressed above, I, too, saw it on FB yesterday. My comment on that thread was pretty simple. This applies to most of us.

(11,481 posts)had some interaction with them at the Left Forum event and we discussed them briefly in a recent meeting. An interesting take on things. We decided to follow and continue discussions with them. They will be one of the groups that we will ask to critique our new Action Program when it's completed, but before it's released.

(32,056 posts)it's good to know someone in here has had some contact with these folks. I never know what I'm dealing with on Facebook, but I did like their message.

(11,481 posts)They're pretty sectarian in a lot of areas and right centrist in others. Their political philosophy, although self-identified as Marxist, seems to be something of a mash up of centrist ideas, vacillating wildly between left and right, reform and revolution.
We'll see what happens.
