what was hot at the mall this week.

Vintage cats eye glasses. Only had a couple of pairs left and they flew out the door. Were priced at $20 which was way under priced, would have sold at twice the price.
Medium priced costume jewelry. Signed and in perfect condition. Most of the buyers were dealers.
Old weathered doors and window frames. Most of the window frames were without the glass in them.
Expensive South West jewelry.

I just sold the neatest bird cage. It was heavy wire with old green paint and looked Victorian. Vinca Jun 2012 #2

On the other hand, the old watering can in my booth is just gathering dust. The store I sell in has a really funky feel. The other day I mentioned to the owner that it was so funny I could put a fine antique on the shelf and it will sit for a year, but anything related to the Grateful Dead or Phish sells overnight.
