so if anyone has never seen "The Servant", do yourselves a favour and put on the recorder for this one.

I'm a Bogarde fan myself, but I think there could be few who wouldn't be mesmerised by his creepy performance as the butler. Can't say too much more without giving away the plot, but this is a film that keeps coming back to haunt you for days afterwards. And James Fox, in one of his first film appearances, is also excellent - but it's Bogarde's film from beginning to end.
