Markup is still klutzy compared to the old graphite pencil.

Big win is the lighted screen. No more adjusting lamps to light up the printed pages, which never lie flat, even in 3-rings.

In a Grieg mood, try The Last Spring, Wedding day at Troldhaugen, lyric pieces, Peer Gynt Suite, "I Love Thee", (very nice), Holberg Suite, and the Piano Concerto. and LOTS MORE.

Some scores for this Norwegian composer have words in German and annotations in Italian.

Say, speaking of languages, did you catch "“Florencia en el Amazonas" at the Met? I heard it on the radio and it was stunningly beautiful.

I just saw some photos and I'll have to see it, I guess!

It's in Mexican Spanish.

Composer Daniel Catán, who died in 2011, embraced a neo-Romantic style and often has been compared to Puccini.

'The' as grammatical article gives meaning to the title. Not 'Last Spring'. I caught that. Wonder if Spring '24 could be 'The Last Spring'...

The paintbrush plants poked up in the snow last early spring. And the storms tore down tree limbs and trees. I am still cutting up limbs that snapped in that storm.

It's a bit primitive here. As long as there are monster chores to do every spring, there will be one on schedule.

And as long as poison oak leafs-out bright red in spring, there will be a spring. And weed killer.

Later, wild flowers. Best reason for Spring to return regularly. Not sure about the equator.
