That was 81-82ish? Tattoo You album. Saw it live at Sun a Devil Stadium. Probably others too.

I still have an old cassette of him with his band "The X-pensive Winos." The title of it is "Talk Is Cheap." I was surprised that his voice is that high. I would have thought it was throaty and gutteral, like Joe Cocker.
