We'd also use it for soundcheck because our soundman really liked it.
Every once in a while, we would pull it out of our pocket. Never rehearsed it. Just wing it and see what happens.
For soundcheck I'd play both piano & guitar so he'd get everything dialed in.
A few times, we'd just keep pounding the riff chords while the drummer stretched/soloed. Good way to burn 5 or 6 minutes!
