Buddy, Billy Cobham, & Bonham were his biggest influences.
We used to do "Them Changes" at jam nights so he could sing it. Good jam night tune. Plenty of room for people to stretch & improv the tune.

Buddy also was good on the guitar. He was a guy who could just break out into doing some singing or playing at any time no matter the surrounding. Truly a guy living life on his own wavelength.
