For some reason they were popular in San Antonio - Where I would spend my summers (it was the 70s - So of course I had divorced parents) but nobody heard of them in western PA - Or anywhere else really.
Great band

(7,020 posts)I have to check out Them Crooked Vultures. Really liked that song's progression to the hard finish. Lot of cool stuff going on throughout.
Have you run across a band out of Chicago called The Jesus Lizard?

(13,191 posts)Back when I was in High School (76? 77?) I got tickets to a monsters of rock show - No not that one...
Not the Big Arena line up, but more of a mid-popularity/opening act kinda show - Ya know, filler while the big acts took a break or played some festival or something.
So on this stop at the Wheeling Raceway there was no Lynyrd Skynyrd Kansas or Aerosmith...
But I saw AC-DC Heart and Ted Nugent with Meatloaf on vocals - I Must Capitalize All The Words - Just A Great Fucking Show

The Polack MSgt
(13,191 posts)As far as I can remember, this is the 1st time I ever listened to these guys.
Which is weird because this is right on the button for the 70s rock I would've been into.
This group (DU MA) kicks ass. as I keep saying.
It's 2019, I never would've guessed that I'd still be learning about classic 70s hard rock this close to my 60th birthday
