counting crows - goodnight elizabeth (live, guessing ... 1996? SF) a f***ing stunning version

of one o' my all time favorite songs.

To be able to pull off literally the same 3 chords (which I know cause I've played and sang it like 1M times) ... for 7 straight minutes, and have it be this great, and this moving ... is a serious gift. Adam just kills it on this ... if you're not a Crows fan you've probably never heard it, but it's easily one of their greatest songs ...

I’m always reaching for August when I’m in need of some Crows but this reminds me not to neglect Recovering the Satellites so often.

The perfect band for their time and still so timeless.

That album was one of my airplane go to CDs when I traveled for biz!
I had to have listened that CD over a hundred times on planes!

I'm not capable of listening to this song without rocking out, singing along and playing air guitar and drums lol ...

So, I just tried ... yeah, NOPE ... can't do it.
