I love these guys!

This was back before Mt. St. Helens blew. I worked in the woods and my
house was right on the edge of the Deschutes River, which was the eastern boundary of the reservation. Directly across the wide river was a bar, the closest place an Indian could
get a beer for many miles.
This song had been recently released. The only song by an Indian band on the
jukebox. It played at least a dozen, maybe two dozen times a night. The bar crowd
would stand in the parking lot and sing along.
Even across the wide Deschutes, and the noise it made, I heard that song
sooooooooooo many times.

I gotta admit, until recently I had no idea this kick ass song was by Native Americans! I’ve always loved it and now I play it all the time on the TV with my good sound system.
