Yes - the downbeat. I've been dancing for oh so long now I feel that in my stomach and am just aware of the music.

(53,475 posts)... I love the blues and "feel" the music. At my lesson yesterday, I played a simple blues rhythm while my instructor played lead and it was euphoric.
I've been a Ry Cooder fan since I first heard him play Willin' with Little Feat and I've even got some John Lee vinyl. Hearing them together is great. Again, thanks for posting.

(42,239 posts)I'm 68 and over the past 10 years I've collected about 160 banjos, now reduced to c. 80, 25 or so guitars, 10 ukuleles one of which is a 1919 Martin, 3 lap dulcimers and other odds and sods like octave mandolins etc.
I can't play any them but have booked a ukulele lesson for April 1st which is bundled in with a tea swing dance. If nothing else I want to be able to play this like George :

(42,239 posts)Its the end of the Concert for George. Those youtubes of the finale gets deleted frequently. The high quality on the DVD of that concert which I've got anyway is a real tear jerker when millions of petal are dropped from the ceiling of the Royal Albert Hall. Used copies of that DVD over your side are about $10 on Amazon - I just checked. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dmovies-tv&field-keywords=concertr+for+george
