Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up, in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. Like most of the band's previous releases, the album topped record charts in many countries, including both the US and the UK. However, the critical response was generally unfavourable, and Let It Be came to be regarded as one of the most controversial rock albums ever.

A rare take of "Across The Universe" in 1969. John is heard speaking and messing around throughout the take. Recorded in January of '69 in Twickenham Studios.
A performance by a Japanese tribute band. Wow, do I love these videos.

Once more 10cc Live in Holland. The band covers their manager's (Harvey Lisberg) favorite Beatles song. Shout out to Fons for providing the footage.

... from Liverpool again. They grew up and grew apart but they will always be the Beatles.

of Beatles songs is the sound track from Sean Penn's movie called "I Am Sam."
Worth the listen IMHO.

Is it Sgt Peppers, Abbey Road, or Revolver-level great?
Well, no, but ... that's not exactly fair. You're talking about 3 inarguably Top 25 Albums of All Time level stuff there.
Some would probably even say they all belong in the All Time Top 10, and I wouldn't argue.
But by any remotely normal standards, Let it Be is friggin' fantastic.
