Pretty much what it says. He's gotta be about thirteen years old in this.

Tommy Duncan was scheduled to appear, but he was ill, so Glen got the gig. He said it was a huge thrill. This is before Glen became a star. The production values are incredibly cheap. Love the way Glen dances around. I met him in 1960, briefly.

Glen has Tommy Duncan's vocal phrasing down to a science. He was a much-in-demand L.A. session guitarist before becoming a star in his own right. Bob Wills is rightfully known as the originator of western swing, melding country with big band sounds. Production values of the day notwithstanding, seeing them performing live together is a wonderful musical moment.

and some serious pedal guitar playing (and bass). The Texas Playboys were a hell of a group....
