(8,964 posts)Just before Chris Hillman left the band. One show that I won't forget. The interplay between White on Telecaster and Roger McGuinn on the Ricky 12-string was jaw-dropping. Different styles altogether, but together creating a sound all its own.

(3,064 posts)Was fortunate enough to have seen them play a couple of times during that period and they were amazing.
Skip Battin and Gene Parsons were proficient musicians and and McGuinn was now a truly excellent guitar player and Clarence White was Clarence White.
I read that Chris Hillman said that Clarence never hit a bad note. He always knew what he was doing.
