I don't know anymore.
RIP CC.
There will be less music in the future to appreciate without Chris.

(3,014 posts)On the same day, which probably contributed. Not to mention all the Trump stuff.
However, maybe b/c I'm from Seattle and live in the PNW, it was mentioned here a lot yesterday. There was even a long segment on NPR.

(5,316 posts)...more and more, each day, as stuff like this happens, combined with the atrocities of the Trump "Presidency."
It's all very depressing to me.

(5,316 posts)...I also know that I did not post anything about his passing until now.
I just assumed that somebody else here would've already done that.

(831 posts)This is my statement about Chris Cornel. Yes, the former Soundgarden front man did commit suicide but not on his own volition. What does that mean? He was taking Ativan in which is an Anti-Anxiety medication. Cornel was taking this drug and got one of the bad side effects, which are Suicidal thoughts. So, in actuality, big Pharma murdered Chris Cornel.
Mental disorders is not taken seriously in the USA, we are so focus in what the 1% social engineering has for us. They make the agenda for the American public to follow, while the Christian church fills up people heads with bullshit like being insane is a choice. Choice? When it comes to disease and sickness, it is not a choice! Unless you are some New Age weirdo who believes in, Mind Over Matter Illness is not a choice! Go fuck yourself if you think so! Chris Cornel had many years ahead of him and because unsympathetic public who thinks if you are an artist that you are whiny crybaby and if you have lots of money, that you have right to complain about anything. Chris Cornel was not a billionaire. Hell, he wasnt even a millionaire. He did have a reputation and was semi famous. Besides mental health, Americans are stupid to understand artists or even politics. Trump has supporters! Isnt that proof Americans are stupid? If the USA had better medicine and health care, Chris Cornel would still be alive today.
