One of my earliest crushes (besides Bernadette Peters...woof!) I think I was 7... Blondie!

Had a thing for Carly Simon too.... I liked strong women early on...

Pardon me while i digress (trip down memory lane if you will)

I was running in Atlanta during summer and felt dehydrated, so I stopped at the nearest bar. She started talking to me, complimenting my looks, and next thing I knew she kissed me. I think I was 23 or 24 at the time, and first time I was away from home. I was definitely shocked.

Older DUers know some of these things because we used to post pics the first few years.
Yeah, I was kinda striking. That’s probably the biggest reason why I have so many colorful experiences.

Now I’m 65. Heh

That wasn’t even close to being the coolest experience.

She lived in my buiding in NYC.... We chatted just a few times when we we walked our dogs. She had a Yorkie.... She is stunning and brilliant... One of my only brushes with greatness.

As a preteen, I cranked it up every time a local radio station played it. Fortunately it was played a lot! Never got burnt-out by it! Still like it!

This brings it back like it was yesterday. I had a really good friend and we would drink and get ready and listen to Blondie. My friend was from a small town in Michigan called Union City and we would listen to "Union City Blues".

She was a good friend and we had a lot of fun. (Still in touch via Facebook but we live different lives now).
