How did I miss "Chimes of Freedom"

Amnesty International put out a 4 CD set of artists from all over the world singing Dylan's music. I spent about 10 minutes listening to selections on Amazon and then jumped over to the AI site and bought it through them. It's $24.99, and since you can avoid the $5 shipping charge if you order more than $25, I'm going to surprise my wife with an "Abolish the Death Penalty" tee shirt.

The ad for that was stalking me around the internet. Must have clicked on a Dylan link or something and my interwebs learned that I was interested in it so it kept showing me the ad? And then I buy a bunch of political magazines like the Nation, motherjones, and Z-magazine. And all of them either had ads or reviews of this album.

Did you listen to it yet? Are there any good songs on there? What are some of the best songs on Chimes of Freedom?

some great music on there, by a wide variety of artists. I hadn't heard of half of them, but then some classics like Steve Earle, Joan Baez, even a Johnny Cash thrown in. You can purchase it at the Amnesty International site for $25
