Don’t go slagging Eddie Vedder’s singing in my presence if you please.

“If I could sing like Eddie I’d just tell everyone they can kiss my ass.” - David Letterman

Andrew Wood was a fine singer, but certainly no better than Eddie.

And thanks for the MLB.

We just gonna have to agree to disagree.
Don't get me wrong, amazing songwriter. But so was Dylan. I probably would appreciate eddies voice much more if I didn't have to spend the 90's listening to every band trying to imitate him and Cobain.

Love it or hate it, few people have a more distinct sound.

And he never blew it out after decades of hard rock singing.

Hence the emoji. But I kid because of being a Singer. Like, you wanna listen to Keith moon or Meg White, dig? To put it in perspective, one of my greatest influences....

But I do appreciate his uniqueness.

I'm somewhere between Paul Rogers, Chris Robinson, and Robin Zander. If I could sing like Steve for at least two sets, I wouldn't be working for a living. Most I could handle was 1 pie tune per set.....

No video I can find on the tube of my lead stuff, unfortunately. Used to be there. I'd be the skinny shit in the middle with the huggy bear cap.

If I were a mad scientist trying to create the ultimate rock singer I might start with those three.

Probably throw in a little Burton Cummings and Chris Cornell and maybe a bit of Eddy Vedder and call it good.

Please share a link if you find some of your singing on the intertubes- would love to hear it.
