Exhibit 3, with the classic lineup of Robert, Porl, Simon, Boris, and ... Lawrence ...
this was the first tour I saw them on, the Standing on a Beach tour, and they were freakin' en fuego, man. The Greek Theater, Berkeley ... on a nice chill clean e-tab that night ... t'was one of the best nights of my life ...
A Slab of Bonus (mostly Head on the Door) Cuts from this freaking phenomenal show ... most of these are like THE definitive live versions of these songs ...
*A Night Like This (absolutely killer version ... definitive)
*Push (still even more killer version ... also definitive ... "this is about when I used to wear a dress and travel on the train"
*One Hundred Years (imminently skippable, a hookless, overly long and gloomy Cure song ... skip to A Forest at 17:15)
*A Forest (THIS ONE ... OTOH ... is amazing)
*Sinking (and then it gets even better with this UNGODLY great version of this song)
*Close to Me (somewhat annoying, you can just see Robert is uncomfortable suddenly being mr. pop star)
*Let's Go to Bed (same as the last one ... nice version, but you can tell he hates this dance-y persona)
*Six Different Ways (this quirky tune is one is worthy just for the sheer awesomeness of Boris Williams drum work, and illustrates why they've never been the same ... since he left the band after Wish. His replacement Jason Cooper, while he LOOKS similar ... is a very pale imitation).
