This is cool! We should do games like this more often.

Another photo forum I used to be on did this kind of thing and it was not always macro pictures. Sometimes, just showing a portion of a picture can be puzzling to figure out what the entire thing is. I remember one puzzler turned out to be part of a horn of a Scottish Highland cow!

I went to bed after posting this realizing that the Iowa Caucus was going to be very boring... I was going to get up and photograph the quadrantids meteor shower... Betzwood Park (part of Valley Forge) was the only place nearby that doesn't have street lights glaring so I drove over and sat for an hour, listened to BBC and had a police officer question me at length as to why I was sitting in the park at 3:30 am without my lights on... he tells me, but lets me stay anyway... maybe I was too tired... but I didn't see any meteors so... I am now back in my warm (about 13 degrees out) place of occupancy but not able to sleep.

I am having trouble getting "in focus" photos of late so I was playing around earlier trying to adjust this and that and my eyes...

much to my partners dismay, I had brought the deer skull 'home' so that I could save the antler (photo from 2 weeks ago) and after cleaning the skull realized how beautiful and interesting it was... to all of you for humoring me and playing my game...

couldn't even take a guess because of the pattern of the cracks! Of course, I've never seen a skull up close.

Even though I didn't offer a guess, I kept coming back, trying to figure it out.

It was a fun game! Thanks

the person who was first to get it right might consider starting a new game.
