and a little closer view. I didn't have a tripod with me and really couldn't have set up very well anyway since these were so low to the ground, but I really love how feathery the ice formation are. There's running water in the darkness, but shadowy light makes it impossible to see.

that had formed over this little stream. The water was flowing under the ice, and everywhere there was an opening, these beautiful ice crystals had formed. When I get back down to my computer, I'll post a wider angle shot.
