Every now and then I go nuts at a couple of the local farmer's markets, and today was one of those days.

Maybe because of the rain, everything looked much more beautiful and exotic than they normally do.

We had a visitor over the weekend and were busy. We were scarcely affected by the storm.

My son went to Cal Poly and SLO has a very nice one.

I don't always go to both.

Tuesday is Manhattan Beach's farmer's market. And Thursday is the one in El Segundo.

The MB market is slightly bigger with somewhat better choices.

So have a choice of lots of FMs to choose from. Love them all, especially this time of year.

We are so fortunate to have year-round markets. Of course the selection is much better in the summer, but even the winter months have good stuff.

My daughter did an abstract of the same orange/ red flower in a cobalt blue vase I have...we call it Lorraine's flowers. She was an old neighbor, who picked them from her garden for me.
