I've loved the Atchafalaya Basin since I first encountered it during a research trip that ended up in Henderson. Such a wonderful, haunting, timeless place. Some day I hope to return to soak up more of the culture and the generous people who live there.

I love the mood and light that establishes it.

I would crop about 5 % in from the right. There is a log or something at the water line that disappears going right and becomes some kind of tangle. I'd crop out the tangle.

I'm going to subscribe to you for your photo posts. I have always enjoyed clicking on them when I see them.
