These four photos are experimental. I took them at the El Segundo Farmer's Market today.

I decided to use my big lens, the 100--400mm. It's heavy and I need to play more with it. These are the four best ones. Most were taken between 100 and 150mm. And of course, I was standing some distance away.

Hope you enjoy!

I always strive to do more and better. Andy always encouraged me to be that way. It's a great way to learn.

I never really know how well things are going to turn out, and today was like that.

I loved the tulips too! I had to get that photo! So I did.

I love the berry shot. The angle, the way the different berries are organized, the lines of the turquoise containers and the green of the sugar snaps in the foreground is very pleasing. I think it’s the four solid colored rows then the patchwork quilt of different berries as your eye moves down the table that grabbed my brain.

I thought that angle would work quite well, and it did. It was as close to perfect as I ever get.

Patchwork quilt is a very good way to describe it!

Our famers market doesn't start until June. Can hardly wait.

I really like the perspective of the rhubarb and berries.

16. It may not seem like it, my dear Callalily, but both of the farmer's markets are open one day a week!

I always go! They don't happen if it's raining, so then I stay home.

Glad you enjoyed the photos.
